Musing...

I feel like I am in the worst place right now. I am close to college, but I am so far away at the same time. It is frustrating.

This past Sunday, me and my friends were sitting in Church and the pastor was talking about how if you are not doing something now, don't say "when I get to this point it will change"... that got me thinking...

Lately, I keep saying to myself, "when I get to college I will be able to..." (fill in the blank). This blank is mostly filled with things like be more disciplined with my quiet time, be more responsible with my money, etc. However, telling myself this is a lie. I fear a lot of you, whoever is reading this blog, is telling yourself something similar. It may not be about getting to college, it may be "when I get the job..." or "when I graduate...". Whatever your "next step" may be, getting to it will not miraculously change your routine and habits. If you are not consistent where you are at now, then it will take a heck of a lot to become consistent later in life.

The time is now to start a change. There will always be another excuse not to change, there will always be another reason to postpone the inevitable. START TODAY.. You won't be sorry
